Supporting Our School’s Greatest Needs
The Prep Campaign kicks off annually in mid-October. Participation from the entire community helps us reach our financial goal and most importantly our 100% participation goal. Every gift, regardless of size, supports the people and programs that make our school a great school, now, and into the future.
The school’s greatest needs are ultimately determined by the school administration along with the Board of Trustees. Campaign funds are used for research-based classroom initiatives that will enhance each student’s learning opportunities and add value to the student experience. Examples could include professional development, specialized classroom equipment, or program resources needed for a specific curriculum opportunity.
We aim for 100% participation which help illustrate our communities loyalty and trust in our fundraising efforts. Every donation made to Prep contributes towards great things for our school and annually impacts students in across all three divisions. In a small school, participation makes all the difference to a successful campaign.
There are many ways to support The Prep Campaign with tax-deductible gifts. Charlotte Prep families can have gifts spread throughout the school year through monthly drafts via their FACTS account. We ask every family to give at the level that is right for you.
Be sure to check if your employer offers a matching gifts and volunteer grant program.
Please contact parent and board member Sloane Mayberry with questions or if you would like to get involved!
Matching gifts are contributions that come from employers whose employees support non-profit organizations. Often, employers will match up to three times the gift from their employees. Employers may also match gifts from retirees, directors, and even spouses. Click here to find out if your company offers a matching gifts program. You could double, or possibly triple, the impact of your gift each year with a matching gift!
Prep has held an annual fundraising campaign since it became a not for profit entity in 2012. Over $ 1.5 million in unrestricted gifts has been invested into the school, providing meaningful enhancements beyond tuition dollars.
