Requirements: AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Supervise children in assigned classrooms to ensure their safety and continued learning experience throughout the day.
- Partner with existing teacher (where applicable) to learn the routine and expectations of the assigned classroom.
- Instruct lessons according to lesson plans left by the teacher whenever possible, and/or assist in implementing lesson plans if working with another teacher.
- Communicate concerns regarding students - academic, behavioral, social-emotional - to appropriate Division Head so that proper communication can be made with parents and other school personnel.
- Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the school day such as recess, lunch, or traveling to specials.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

Reporting to the Director of Enrollment, the Associate Director of Admissions assists with the overall admissions process and understands the independent school marketplace in Charlotte and how Charlotte Prep is distinct. Schedule and conduct admissions tours and manage inquiry phone calls.

Event Planning and Communications
- Assist with outreach to prospective families as needed via email and phone communication, monthly inquiry blasts, etc.
- Keep constant contact or communications tool up to date with prospective and applicant email lists

- Assist with connecting prospective and new families with existing Admissions Ambassador families
- Assist with the Student Ambassador program as needed

Requirements: PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred

- Partner with division head and colleagues to ensure readiness for high school placement, including advanced level coursework.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those ready for high school-level coursework.
