Education: Jasmine Bethel deeply values the connections and relationships she has developed within her department and strives to remain a positive influence, creating a safe and engaging learning environment. She has built a diverse teaching background, including experience as a technology enrichment teacher at Ivy Preparatory School, teaching assistant for grades 1 and 2 with Roanoke City Public Schools, and a kindergarten teacher. She has loved teaching from a young age, drawn to the joy and curiosity children naturally bring to learning. She especially treasures the moment a young child finally ‘gets it’ and the pure enthusiasm they bring to every lesson. Fun fact: Jasmine loves to travel, having studied at Nanjing University and explored China and Cairo, Egypt. She also enjoys making jewelry and outdoor activities like hiking.
