Education: Katherine Slayton Buhler leads curriculum and instruction at Charlotte Prep, drawing on her deep roots in middle school education—including teaching middle school ELA at League Academy of Communication Arts and serving as a middle school teacher at Charlotte Prep from 2014 to 2020. Inspired to pursue teaching while coaching a college rec basketball team, Katherine is driven by a lifelong passion for learning and creating dynamic environments that challenge students as thinkers and collaborators. Her goal is to build strong curriculum and thoughtful instruction that fosters curiosity and confidence across all grade levels. Outside of school, Katherine enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and playing strategy games like Mahjong. Charlotte Prep employee since 2014 |
