Shelby Cope has served the Charlotte Prep community as a kindergarten assistant, a full-time K-8 substitute, and after-school kindergarten teacher. She previously worked as a behavior technician and a one-on-one behavioral aid. After stepping into a classroom for the first time, Shelby quickly realized teaching was where she belonged. She believes teaching is a work of heart and finds joy in being deeply invested in children’s learning and growth. Supporting students as they learn, grow, and succeed is what makes the work meaningful to her, and she values the relationships formed along the way.
