Education: Beth Gilmartin brings many years of experience working with young learners and has taught across early childhood and lower elementary grades in a variety of school settings. She values the close-knit, collaborative nature of the Charlotte Prep community, where small class sizes allow her to truly know students as individuals and support their academic, social, and emotional growth. Beth was drawn to education by the way learning can shape confidence, curiosity, and character, and she is deeply motivated by helping children discover their strengths and develop a love of thinking, questioning, and learning. She strives to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment where students feel known, valued, and challenged to grow both academically and personally, while modeling kindness, integrity, and respect. Outside of school, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening, and she once played in a celebrity softball game alongside the Fonz, Michael Jackson’s nephews, Tommy Lasorda, Pam Hasselhoff, and Tatyana Ali.
