Education: Jill Hacker has been an educator for over three decades. She began her career as a substitute teacher for the Arcadia School District in California, and then taught at The Barnhart School in Arcadia before joining Charlotte Prep. She loves the warm and inviting environment at Charlotte Prep and the freedom she has to truly focus on her students’ needs. She was drawn to teaching from an early age, and even told her first-grade teacher she would be a teacher just like her someday. Jill strives to create a magical year for her kindergartners and help them to become lifelong learners, showing them joy through reading, building friendships, and kind communities. She is passionate about watching the kids grow and develop through a crucial year and teaching them to read in preparation for first grade. Outside of school, Jill loves to draw and paint, most recently creating digital art for her own lessons. She also enjoys going to Disney and has been there over 200 times. Charlotte Prep employee since 2011 |
