Mikayla Hodge was drawn to working with children after friends noticed her natural ability to connect with kids. Her first teaching role confirmed that it was the right path, and she gained experience as a lead teacher at Childcare Network and as a lead STEM teacher. She loves the Charlotte Prep community, especially the sense of family within the Auxiliary Programs, and believes in nurturing each child with care and attention. Her personal philosophy is “Grow, grow, grow! Even your biggest trees started out as a sapling,” reflecting her dedication to fostering growth in every student. Outside of school, Mikayla is deeply passionate about music—she plays guitar, bass, DJs, has releases on Soundcloud, and attends concerts frequently. Charlotte Prep employee since 2024 |
