Education: Kato Nims brings nearly two decades of teaching experience to her role at Charlotte Prep. She has previously held roles at Charlotte Country Day School and Trinity School in Atlanta, serving as a lead teacher and director of studies. Kato is passionate about helping students feel seen, known, and empowered to make a positive difference in their world, and she enjoys using creative solutions to support learning and growth for all members of the Prep community. She loves coming to work each day surrounded by engaged students and supportive colleagues, where she can bring creativity and care into her teaching. Kato also enjoys reading, and loves films–she watches all the Oscar-nominated movies each year, and has collected license plates from all 50 U.S. states. Charlotte Prep employee since 2024 |
