Timothy Ryan brings over 25 years of experience in finance and operations across nonprofit, education, and professional service organizations. Before joining Charlotte Preparatory School, he served in senior financial and operational leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing financial strategy, operations, facilities, and growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting and consulting with KPMG, focusing on audits, financial reporting, and strategic advisory services. He values the strong sense of shared purpose at Prep, where educators, families, and staff work collaboratively to support students while maintaining high standards and a culture of care. Timothy was drawn to finance and operations because he enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and stability to organizations, allowing others to do their best work. At Prep, he focuses on building systems, processes, and teams that ensure long-term sustainability and support the school’s mission.
