Education: Jessica Stargell brings extensive experience as both a middle school educator and school leader, having taught and led across grades 5-8 in a variety of independent K-8 school settings. Throughout her career, she has taught a wide range of subjects including English, history, science, and civics, and has spent seven years serving as a middle school director. Jessica values the deeply relational community present at Charlotte Prep, where students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow into confident and kind leaders, and where faculty and families care for one another. Inspired by teachers who cared for her both as a learner and a person, she is committed to creating a middle school experience where students thrive academically while also developing curiosity, self-awareness, empathy, and confidence. She especially enjoys watching who students are becoming–not just what they are learning–and helping them find their voice in a community where they feel known and valued. Jessica also enjoys glamping with her husband and dog as well as hiking, biking, traveling, photography, reading, and journaling. Charlotte Prep employee since 2024 |
