Biography
Education: M.A., Early Childhood Education, Hunter College B.F.A., Art Education, Ohio University Megan Wright believes that every day in the classroom is an opportunity to inspire creativity and curiosity in young learners. Growing up surrounded by family members in education, Megan developed a love for teaching early on, often helping her mom in the classroom and pretending to be a teacher for her stuffed animals. She began her career teaching Kindergarten-5th grade art in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, then taught at The Town School in New York City before joining the lower school at Charlotte Prep. Megan values the small, close-knit community at Charlotte Prep, where each child and their family is truly known. Outside of school, Megan enjoys trying new activities. She is a member of Charlotte Curling and plays pickleball regularly. Charlotte Prep employee since 2020
