Education: Julia Walthall-Eisman brings extensive educational leadership and classroom experience to Charlotte Prep. Her career includes teaching with Teach for America in the Bronx and Newark, teaching in a Children's Inpatient Psychiatric Ward, six years at Charlotte Country Day School as a middle school science teacher and team leader, five years at Holton-Arms School as a tech coach, serving as Dean of Middle School at BASIS Independent McLean, and nine years at Charlotte Latin School as a science and leadership teacher. Originally planning to attend law school, Julia discovered her true passion lay in guiding students to examine where their talents meet the world's needs. Her mission at Charlotte Prep is to serve the community by leveraging her skills to advance the school's vision. A third-generation Charlottean, Julia loves Lego building and mystery novels in her free time. Charlotte Prep employee since 2026 |
