Athletic Adventurers Camps

Amazing Athletes (June 8-12) - $500
Amazing Athletes
(Rising Grades Kindergarten-8)

This program features one sport per week, where we focus more on the individual skills associated with the sport. Depending on the sport of the day, we run different drills, games, and relay races to help the participants become more well-rounded athletes. Participants practice their skills through drills and typically end each session with a scrimmage. Amazing Athletes is a national organization known for using a more in-depth approach to nutrition and muscle identification, and for allowing campers to play in a safe yet competitive environment.  Check them out at www.amazingathletes.com.

Kidokinetics (June 15-18) - $400 & (July 13-17) - $500

Kidokinetics is a sports and physical education enrichment program serving ages 2-12. The program uses a science-based curriculum to offer 20+ sports and activities, while working on key concepts such as locomotor and fine motor movements, spatial awareness, body control, coordination, balance, and muscle development in an all-inclusive, non-competitive environment. The goal is to provide a comprehensive sports and fitness experience that is engaging and fun, assisting children to stay physically and socially active, relieve stress, and build confidence.

Basketball Camp (July 6-10) - $500

Our basketball camp offers an energetic and supportive environment for boys and girls ages 5–13 to develop their skills and passion for the game. Throughout the week, campers are grouped by age and ability to ensure they receive age-appropriate instruction, ranging from basic coordination and "dribble tag" for the youngest players to advanced shooting techniques and tactical scrimmages for older participants. Beyond the court, our curriculum emphasizes core values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence, culminating in a fun-filled tournament and skills showcase on the final day. Facilitated by Prep's own Coach Little, this camp provides hoops and fun all week long!

Volleyball Camp (July 20-24) - $500

Get ready to elevate your game this summer at our Youth Volleyball Camp, designed specifically for aspiring athletes aged 5 to 13. Leading the charge is renowned Prep volleyball coach Jeovane Fraga, who brings a wealth of elite coaching experience and a passion for player development to the court. Whether your child is picking up a ball for the first time or looking to sharpen their competitive edge, this camp offers a high-energy environment focused on mastering the fundamentals—serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Through a mix of technical drills, teamwork exercises, and friendly scrimmages, Coach Fraga ensures that every camper builds confidence and discovers the joy of the game.

Elevate your child's soccer skills at the Nike Soccer Camp at Charlotte Prep School. Art Explorers Workshop (June 8-12) -$600
Art Explorers Workshop 
(Rising Grades Kindergarten-8)

Art Explorers Workshop allows campers to explore a wide range of art techniques and materials, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. Campers learn about artistic styles, creative processes, and self-expression while developing fine motor skills and confidence. Each project encourages creativity, individuality, and problem-solving, and campers leave with multiple completed artworks to share at home.

Rhythm & Beats Music (June 15-18) - $500

(Rising Grades Kindergarten-8)

Rhythm & Beats immerses campers in the world of music through rhythm, percussion, and sound exploration. Campers learn basic musical concepts such as tempo, patterns, dynamics, and coordination while experimenting with instruments and body percussion. The camp encourages self-expression, listening skills, and teamwork through group performances and rhythm-based activities. No prior musical experience is required.

Broadway Bound Juniors (June 22-26) -$550

Broadway Bound Juniors gives campers an exciting introduction to theatre and performance. Throughout the week, students participate in acting games, movement exercises, voice practice, and scene work. Campers build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork while learning the fundamentals of stage presence and storytelling. Led by the inimitable Mr. Spencer Bang, this camp combines theatre skills with imagination, creativity, laughter, and an extra dose of DRAMA!  The week culminates in a fun showcase performance where campers can shine and celebrate their accomplishments. This camp is simply a must for all theatre enthusiasts!

Gamemakers Coding (July 6-10) - $550

(Rising Grades 2-8)

In GameMakers Coding Camp, campers learn coding fundamentals by designing and building their own digital games. Using age-appropriate coding platforms, students develop skills in logic, sequencing, debugging, and creative design. Campers collaborate, test ideas, and problem-solve while learning how technology works behind the scenes. By the end of the week, each camper gains confidence in coding and a deeper understanding of how games are created.

Master Makers: LEGO Engineering (July 13-17) -$550

Master Makers introduces campers to foundational engineering concepts using LEGO-based design challenges. Campers work individually and in teams to plan, build, test, and improve their creations. Concepts such as structure, balance, problem-solving, and basic mechanics are explored through guided activities. This camp strengthens critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration while encouraging perseverance and innovative thinking. 

Quantum Creators (July 20-24) - $550

Quantum Creators Camp is designed for campers ready to dive deeper into science, technology, engineering, and math. Through experiments, design challenges, and real-world problem-solving tasks, students explore advanced STEM topics in an engaging and accessible way. Campers develop analytical thinking, creativity, and scientific reasoning while working on projects that promote innovation and curiosity. This camp is ideal for students who enjoy asking questions, experimenting, and thinking beyond the basics.

Junior Gourmet Cooking Lab (July 27-31) -$600

In Junior Gourmet Lab, campers become young chefs as they explore cooking through hands-on, age-appropriate culinary projects. Working closely with our own Chef Purnell, campers experience the art and science of cooking. Throughout the week, students learn essential kitchen skills such as measuring, following recipes, practicing food safety, and using tools properly. Campers also discover the science behind cooking—how ingredients change, why techniques matter, and how math is used in the kitchen. Each day, students prepare and taste their own creations while building independence, teamwork, and confidence in the kitchen.

Our Traditional Summer Camp offers rising Kindergarten–8th grade campers the classic summer experience packed with variety, excitement, and memorable adventures! Each week features engaging activities and off-campus field trips, along with special surprises such as karaoke parties, ice cream and snow cone pop-ups, picnic days, and more. Full-day campers enjoy a delicious lunch included each day, and families can choose the schedule that best fits their needs, with both full-day and half-day options available. Rising 8th graders can participate in our unique Junior Counselor program, offering them leadership opportunities and hands-on experience. Additionally, all campers can benefit from our optional Mid-Summer Tune-Up tutoring sessions, designed to keep skills sharp. It’s everything you love about summer—wrapped into one unforgettable program!
 

Young Adventurers Camp

Our Young Adventurers Camp invites rising Primary and Transitional Kindergarten campers to explore, play, and grow in a warm, nurturing environment designed just for them. Each week features exciting themed activities, including water days, nature walks, creative arts and crafts, and fun-filled field trips that spark curiosity and wonder. Full-day Campers enjoy a nutritious lunch provided daily, and a quiet nap time is offered to help our youngest adventurers recharge. With both full-day and half-day options, it’s the perfect blend of learning, adventure, and care—tailored to support happy, confident early learners.
