The entire Charlotte Prep student body gathered in a circle around our flagpole to celebrate this important day. Pre-Primary students came dressed for the occasion with colorful peace hats they made.

Danielle Ferguson speaking to students at assemblyHead of School Chris Marblo emphasized that we all have a responsibility to be peacemakers; “peace is not something that happens naturally in the world, nor easily. In order for there to be peace, we need to make it.” And Director of Community Life Danielle Ferguson sent students off with a simple reminder: “as you go about your day, think about how you can be peacemakers, whether that’s speaking up when something’s wrong or simply being kind to others.”
