School-Wide Engineering Challenge
April 5th, 2023
Our annual STEM Egg Drop Challenge provides Prep students of all ages the opportunity to become engineers! Students designed and built contraptions at home to protect a raw egg from cracking when dropped from spots around campus ranging from 6 feet to 40 feet high! To add to the fun, they competed for the Chicken Little Award (smallest successful contraption), the Funky Chicken Award (most complex successful contraption), the Faberge Egg Award (most beautifully decorated successful contraption), and the Prep Pride Award (successful
contraption that best represents their love of Prep).
Congratulations to this year's winners! Chicken Little Award: Bennett & Betty Anne D. Funky Chicken Award: Arthur G. (honorable mention: Shrey V). Prep Pride Award: Alex & Elizabeth T. Faberge Egg Award: TIE Aeliana L. and Florence C.
